The 2025 WTT Star Contender Doha is an upcoming table tennis tournament that will take place at the Lusail Sports Arena in Doha, Qatar, from 6 to 11 January 2025. The tournament is categorized as a WTT Star Contender event in 2025 WTT Series. It has a total prize money pool of $275,000.

Wang Chuqin and Sun Yingsha are the defending champions in men’s singles and women’s singles, respectively.

Tournament

The 2025 WTT Star Contender Doha is the first tournament of the 2025 WTT Series and part of the WTT Star Contender Doha championships, which have been held annually since 2021 except 2023. This fifth edition of the tournament will take place at the Lusail Sports Arena in Doha, Qatar, featuring a draw size of 64 players in both the men’s and women’s singles, 16 pairs in men’s doubles, women’s doubles, and mixed doubles. Qualifying rounds will be held for both singles and doubles events.
