The 2025 WTT Contender Taiyuan is an upcoming table tennis tournament that will take place at the Taiyuan Binhe Sports Center in Taiyuan, China, from 7 to 13 April 2025. The tournament is categorized as a WTT Contender event in 2025 WTT Series. It has a total prize money pool of $85,000.
Liang Jingkun and Chen Xingtong are the defending champions in men’s singles and women’s singles, respectively.
Tournament
The 2025 WTT Contender Taiyuan is the sixth tournament of the 2025 WTT Series and part of the WTT Contender Taiyuan championships, which have been held annually since 2023. This third edition of the tournament will take place at the Taiyuan Binhe Sports Center in Taiyuan, China, featuring a draw size of 32 players in both the men’s and women’s singles, 16 pairs in men’s doubles, women’s doubles, and mixed doubles. Qualifying rounds will be held for both the men’s and women’s singles events.
