World Table Tennis (WTT) has released its exciting calendar for 2025, promising a year packed with events, new Grand Smashes, and returns to famous cities. This will be the first full schedule since WTT began, with top players and rising stars ready to compete all year.

With four Grand Smashes, six WTT Champions events, our year-end WTT Finals, and our WTT Contender, WTT Feeder and WTT Youth Series events, we are setting a new standard—bringing fans closer to the intensity, talent, and thrill that table tennis is known for, now more than ever in the history of our sport. I cannot wait for all the incredible moments WTT will bring in 2025, in iconic locations worldwide, giving fans everywhere the chance to witness table tennis at its finest.”
Four Major Grand Smash Events
In 2025, there will be four Grand Smashes, the biggest tournaments in WTT. These will start with the Singapore Smash from January 30 to February 9. In July, the U.S. will host its first WTT Grand Smash in Las Vegas. A new Grand Smash event will happen in August, with the location yet to be announced. Lastly, the China Smash will take place in Beijing from September 25 to October 5.
Six Locations for WTT Champions Events
The WTT Champions events, where top players compete, will happen in six locations. The first events are in Chongqing (March 11-16) and Incheon (April 1-6). Japan will host its first Champions event in August, followed by Macao in September. In Europe, the events will be held in Montpellier, France, and Germany in late October and early November.
2025 WTT Finals
The season ends with the WTT Finals from November 25 to 30. This event will feature the best 16 singles players and eight mixed doubles teams. The WTT Finals have a new format for 2025, with qualification based on the WTT Series Finals Rankings. The host city for this event will be announced soon.

The 2025 calendar embodies this vision, and we look forward to witnessing each player rise to the occasion at every level of WTT.”
Other Key Events
In addition to the big tournaments, the 2025 calendar includes 10 WTT Star Contender and WTT Contender events, starting with WTT Star Contender Doha. New cities like London will host WTT events, and other series like WTT Feeder and WTT Youth will help young players gain experience.
