World Table Tennis (WTT) has announced the return of WTT Champions Macao next September, with an impressive USD 800,000 prize pool. This highly anticipated event is part of a revamped 2025 calendar that promises thrilling matches and memorable moments for table tennis fans worldwide.

The upcoming season will showcase four Grand Smashes, bringing together intense competition and top-tier talent on a global stage. Fans can expect to see frequent clashes between the sport’s top players and emerging stars as WTT amplifies its reach with more regular events.

Kicking off in Singapore from 30 January to 9 February, the 2025 WTT Grand Smash season will then proceed with the United States Smash in Las Vegas from 3 to 13 July.

August sees the debut of a new WTT Grand Smash, which will unfold from 14 to 24 August, with an exciting location to be announced soon. China Smash returns to Beijing in September, running from 25 September to 5 October, rounding off an unprecedented Grand Smash lineup.

The WTT Champions Series is set to host six premier events, including the much-anticipated returns of WTT Champions Chongqing and WTT Champions Incheon, along with a new WTT Champions event in Japan.

The season will conclude with the WTT Finals, scheduled for November 25–30, where the world’s top 16 singles players and eight mixed doubles pairs will vie for championship glory.

“This is the moment we have been waiting for since the launch of World Table Tennis, after the challenges of the global pandemic,” stated WTT CEO Steve Dainton.
